"From the moment Henrick walked into his first audition, he blew me away with his raw talent, instinct, and presence. And this was just the starting point! During our time together, he made each rehearsal his playground, exploring new approaches and making surprising discoveries at every turn. It was like watching a masterclass in technique. He is endlessly creative, effortlessly spontaneous, and completely compelling on stage."

"Henrick is one of the most dedicated artists and performers I’ve ever known. We initially met in 2017 when he auditioned for a show I was co-producing, The Great Pie Robbery. The effort he demonstrated solely for the audition was indicator to know we HAD to work with him. He was always fully prepared, was a dedicated member of the cast, and was ready to jump in to help with any tasks. His uncanny ability to go above and beyond is an inspiration as a fellow creative. As an actor, he showed an incredible depth and willingness to think outside the box. He fostered that in his fellow cast as well. Working with Henrick is always delightful and challenging in all the best ways. His presence on any project helps foster true creativity and camaraderie. Any opportunity I get to work with Henrick I would gladly welcome and hope to continue to work with him in the future."

“Henrick and I met in our production of A Christmas Carol at The Players Guild Theater, where I played Scrooge in tandem with Henrick’s exceptional rendition of Jacob Marley. It is rare to say that I enjoy the experience of working with unfamiliar actors, but working with Henrick for the first time was enlightening and intriguing. He is truly an amazing actor that embraces and delves into his characters and seeks the road less traveled in finding every possible nuance to showcase their aspects, as well as his many talents on the stage. Our collaboration was exciting, challenging and extremely satisfying in bringing to life the scene we created together and the joy we gave to our audiences. It was a treasured time for me as an actor and one I would gladly share with him over and over again.”

"Working with Henrick Sawczak on The Elephant Man was an absolute privilege. As a fellow actor, I was constantly inspired by his deep commitment to the role, his attention to detail, and the emotional vulnerability he brought to every scene. Henrick has a unique ability to balance intensity with nuance, and his portrayal in this production was nothing short of transformative. Beyond his talent, he’s a generous scene partner—always listening, always present, and always lifting up those around him. Sharing the stage with him was not only artistically rewarding but personally meaningful. I would jump at the chance to work with him again!"

"When the great Val Kilmer passed away a few months ago, I immediately thought of my dear friend and actor, Henrick Sawczak. Not only do they bear a resemblance to each other physically, but Henrick is also a brilliant character actor inside the body of a leading man. When we worked together in class on a scene from Sam Sheppard's Fool for Love, I was struck by Henrick's emotional depth and economy of movement; how every very word and gesture carried intention and meaning. Nothing wasted. No false notes. Henrick is an actor's actor in the pursuit of excellence of craft. He is passionate about great storytelling and like any true, New York artist, will call out the bullshit. So, it made complete sense that when I moved out to LA, I continued to reached out to Henrick to be a reader for my west coast auditions. His coaching helps me raise my self tape and Zoom audition game not least because he always brings the focus to building a believable character from the inside out who serves the story. While working with him you'll find yourself making strong and surprising choices. Henrick has always been one to watch but now seems completely poised to be a breakthrough star. You'll say you knew him when (and he'll humbly tell you to stop bc he doesn't care about being a celebrity)!

"Henrick Sawczak has been a familiar and welcome presence on the Players Guild Theatre stage for several seasons, consistently bringing thoughtfulness and depth to every role he takes on. His performance as the lead in The Elephant Man was especially memorable — capturing the character's vulnerability and quiet strength with honesty and restraint. It was one of the most moving performances we've seen on our stage. Henrick is an extremely talented actor with a strong work ethic and a professional, focused approach to the rehearsal process. But what truly sets him apart is the elusive "it factor" — a quiet magnetism that draws audiences in and makes every moment on stage feel alive and immediate. His contributions have left a lasting impression on both audiences and fellow artists alike."

"It was a privilege to witness Henrick's early dedication firsthand. I vividly recall his punctual arrival to my dance class at The Ohio State University in 2009. Henrick's unwavering commitment and wholehearted effort were immediately apparent. Recognizing his immense potential, I offered a small encouragement, and it was inspiring to see him soar. Henrick is a truly dedicated individual, bringing his all to every artistic endeavor and embodying the essence of a supportive friend."

"I have had the pleasure of designing costumes for Henrick. His understanding of his art form is inspired as well as his appreciation of other people's creative work. Be that other actors or directors and designers. He understands the art of costumes and how a costume can enhance his performance through non verbal storytelling. He is a collaborator, an artist and a friend."

"As backstage crew I have a unique look into an actor's process and performance. I have worked with Henrick on several shows and find him to be intense, detail-oriented, and committed to his characters. His acting choices add depth as he boldly explores movement, voice, costuming, and props that bring a character to life. He collaborates with backstage crew to assist with and enhance his performance, explaining his expectations and goals while welcoming input about logistics and procedures. He is always willing to push the envelope in search of the perfect performance, and I look forward to each production we work together."

"As a costumer, it is refreshing to work with an actor who takes the whole of their costume into account during their performance. Henrick cares very deeply about the way that how his costumes affect his onstage performance, and will wear almost anything to enhance his performance, however, even stripped bare in The Elephant Man, Henrick crafted a beautifully poetic performance. He is an actor who uses his whole surroundings to enhance his already impressive performance."
